This site is designed to serve as a tutorial for veterinary students studying anatomy or as a reference for veterinarians to use with their clients.
The site provides a sectional atlas of the normal canine lumbosacral spine in three planes: transverse, sagittal, and dorsal. Lateral and ventrodorsal radiographs of the lumbosacral spine serve as localizers for each series. Each series was constructed using photographs of frozen gross anatomic sections.
