    Question ECFVG or PAVE ?

    Hello,
I graduated as a vet from a non accredited country and I want to practice veterinary medicine in the US.
Looking at my options I found PAVE and ECFVG as a way to get my license.
Does anyone know what's tell difference and which one is better ?

If you are eligible to work in the US, then ECFVG
    If you aren't, then PAVE

The main difference is the visa... if you finish PAVE, you can get a OPT which is a 1year working visa.
But if you finish ECFVG you get nothing. You still need to get a H1B visa, which is the working visa, and at the same time you need someone to hire you and back you up for the H1B visa.

I would consider cost & training opportunities as a major deciding factor. Especially to get training done for cpe portion of ecfvg of an appropriate standard. Very few people helps immigrants and I think licensed ecfvg training programs are more like exhorbatant for no considerable reasons. it can cost as high as like $17000 for ones like vstep. But, they are dedicated so that may be the only good thing. But this is as much cost as to complete the ecfvg program with travel & accommodation included or a year at a university with pave. with pave you pay the university like semester tuition fee & you get an actual clinical training year like other regular students.
