Der Darm des Pferdes - Situs und Exenteration
[ENG] The Intestine of the Horse In Situs and Evisceration
Running Time: 9:12 min.
In the horse, the intestines occupy the biggest part of the abdominal cavity. The anatomical position of the large and small intestine is demonstrated (situs). Special emphasis is put, firstly, on the topographical relationship of adjacent organs, and, secondly, on anatomical structures which serve as landmarks during the manual exploration of the abdomen. The evisceration (exenteration) is demonstrated in several dissection steps.
