New member trying to share some German books

Hello, I'm a new member from Germany and I would like to share my veterinary book collection. However, I cannot seem to use the thanks Tags properly. I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a technical problem. Every other tag works for me and I've also tried different browsers. Everything I put in between [ thanks ] and [/ thanks] just disappears completely from the editor after I hit save.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?
