Hi MOTOKO,
I don't have enough posts to reply to your PM (this is awkward:dwn:), so I have to post it.
Open this page that has everything you to need to know and screenshots of every step. http://www.delete-computer-history.com/increase-virtual-memory.html

If you're on Windows XP go to START -> CONTROL PANEL -> SYSTEM (or PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE -> SYSTEM, depending of your view options) -> ADVANCED -> bottom option, that says VIRTUAL MENU -> click CHANGE -> now, look at the screenshots on the linked page.

On the first option you have to choose your drive (usually C:, or the one you use to install the System and Programs).
On the second option (with the big red arrows) set the "paging file size for selected drive" -> "custom size" for the amount of virtual memory you want. I changed mine to 3100 MB of initial size and 4000MB of Maximum size. Don't choose a number too high because you need to have available space in your drive. Don't forget to click SET in the end, and then click OK.

Windows may ask you to restart, it's ok.

And that's it! Tell me if it worked!
