Here in this particular Thread our Staff will inform you about very important issues, that are constructively meant for your practical support and probably not included to our general rules...just for better management and understanding!
If any user got a good idea he can forward it to the next Moderator in charge, no user is allowed to post here directly!

(all Staff-Members just follow my example with new postings (and thanks)...)

THIS SITE is only charged for LITERATURE ("vet-e-LIB" means veterinary electronic LIBRARY!) and closely related issues and FAQ means "How does this site work" and not "How shall I treat my patients" or that kind of stuff!

We present the existence of technical literature!
If you want to discuss certain Publications you can also make "Groups" in the corresponding area, but don´t spam any section with postings that are not made for.

A Bad Example:

One User asked in the FAQ something about antibiotics and how to use them, he got an infraction, then he started to bother me with "I did not discuss, I just asked"....bad idea!

Use Vetcircles or leave it, but don´t spam Vetelib with Vetcircles-Issues!
 
INFRACTIONS!

So you got an Infraction?!

What does it mean?

You are afraid to get punished or even banned...if there is another...and another...?!

Staff Members can even ban you without any infraction!

So, first of all it is positive you got one!

You will only receive an Infraction if you did something wrong, so live with it and take your consequences...and your consequences should not include starting bothering about it...or you might get the next one or even banned instantly for bothering a Staff-Member!

An INFRACTION is nothing more than the first step for a Staff-Member to show you having done something wrong and it is necessary for keeping the site running and alive, this is generally nothing personal, just take some time to correct your behavior and never let it happen again.

If you really cannot see what the issue is you can ask the one who adressed you...

...but beware of being not polite or not constructive or just annoying.

The next step after getting any Infraction always is being banned!

We are supporting this site to support YOU and not for being Educators, we just try to help and this is just a way of unpersonal communication...first...but it depends on you what will happen about it at last!
